It has been too long!

My goodness, truly, this has taken too long to reconnect with all of you. Thank you for being with me during this long transition of moving to Germany. As I type, I hear church bells. A favorite sound of mine in Europe.

We are loving our German, small village life. Here is a taste of what we experience every day. It is idyllic. It is peaceful. It is heavenly.

My morning runs through rolling hills

Evening walks through the streets of our village

Evening summer sunsets

The transition is long, and we are slowly finding a new normal. Our kids started school on Monday, and life is settling into a pattern again. Thankfully, I speak fluent German, so life is easier for us than perhaps it would be for others who start out in Germany like us.

My computer and printer arrived! *cue applause and dancing *

That means I am pounding the keyboard here to finish Book 2. Please stay tuned as I will need your help with some decisions regarding Book 2's subtitle and what is now Rocklorien's new "Pledge of Lithology".
